  • to develop and promote augmentative communication (manual signs, symbols, picture resources)
  
  • to research and publish sign vocabulary
  • to develop appropriate language resources for children with special needs
  • to provide resources to assist literacy and education
  • to teach communication techniques to anyone living or working with people with impaired communication
  • to work with other organisations and individuals in this field
  • to freely offer advice to parents and professionals
