SIGN REPRODUCTION & LICENSING

Signalong drawings and descriptions are subject to copyright, which we have to defend because nobody funds our core costs. However, we are prepared to provide copies on white paper for limited reproduction within an establishment or for services associated with an individual client and his/her family. They can be reproduced to any size up to A3, and can be laminated at extra cost if required. The basic cost is £0.75 per drawing & description, plus £0.10 per machine run up to A4; this means that 9 drawings to a page, as in the manuals would cost 9x£0.75 + £0.10 = £6.75 per page. If A5 signs are required, the cost is £1.60 per page, and an A4 sign would be £0.85. Laminating can be done at an extra charge. This is limited to no more than 30 signs at any time.  Larger collections of signs are available on licence.  To order a small personal collection of signs contact Kay Meinertzhagen

Where an organisation wishes to incorporate Signalong sign drawings and descriptions in its own material, such as in the Home Farm Trust communication training programme, we are prepared to license them subject to contractual limitations. The cost of this will depend on the purpose and extent of the resource and how many signs are required. Remember - there are over 15000 to choose from!
