SPECIAL VOCABULARIES & POSTERS

A growing number of organisations have realised that they can construct their own core vocabularies and have them produced by Signalong. We are building a database of signs to make this even simpler. These can range from the very slim book produced for Lifecare NHS Trust to introduce GP surgery staff to the concept of visual communication, up to a very much more substantial book for Scope's Beaumont College. Some organisations with trained Signalong tutors on their staff have opted for special vocabularies as the basis of their training programmes.  For a small extra cost we can produce diagrams of local signs and incorporate these into the commissioned manuals. Prices for Personalised Posters, Licences, and Commissioned Manuals

Personalised Posters

Posters may contain 12 signs. The poster includes a title. At the request of the client a logo or address of the establishment may be included as long as there is enough space on the poster.

Set-up fee £10 + VAT

Each poster will cost £3 (Zero rated VAT)

If a new sign is required it will cost an extra £10 + VAT for each drawing.

Licences

Cost

1-50 in a year

In any 12-month period an establishment can have up to 50 signs at £1 + VAT per sign. If the establishment already has any signs on licence that have been renewed that 12-month period they will be included in the 50 signs.

Licence

If an establishment wishes to order 51+ signs they will require a Licence. A Licence lasts for a 12-month period and costs £2 + VAT per sign. A licence can be renewed at the beginning of each following 12-month period at the cost of £1+ VAT per sign.

E.g.

35 signs ordered in a year will cost £35 + VAT

75 signs ordered in a year will cost £150 + VAT

75 signs renewed in a following year will cost £75 + VAT

Usage agreement summary

1-50 in a year

The establishment may not sell or exchange the resources. The establishment may not reproduce them as a complete collection for training purposes. To be used only within the establishment which ordered the signs. Signalong still own the copyright of all diagrams and descriptions.

Licence

The establishment or service may not sell or exchange the resources. The establishment or service may reproduce them as a complete collection for training purposes. To be used only within the establishment or service which ordered the signs. Signalong still own the copyright of all diagrams and descriptions.

Commissioned Manuals

Set up fee

0-200 signs £200 + VAT

Each 0-100 signs after that cost £100 + VAT

E.g.

150 signs will cost £200 + VAT

230 signs will cost £300 + VAT

360 signs will cost £400 + VAT

Manuals include, cover, introduction, signing skills introduction, and an index.

Manual cost

Varies depending on size, if of similar size to one of our current manuals they will be charged at the same price.
