We’re proud to have worked with Red Kite Academy since 2019 and are delighted that they have achieved Gold Signalong Friendly status. The academy opened in 2018 and inspired by its sister school’s successful use of Signalong, quickly adopted the approach to support their pupils.

Lola was introduced to Signalong when she was 4 years old. Lola picked up Signalong very quickly and Sarah (Lola's mum) noticed that her frustration with not being able to communicate started to go. Sarah said: “She finally had a voice and a method to communicate with us. Signalong has honestly changed our life so much."

Since 2007, we have proudly supported Fort Royal Community Primary School in improving their communication with their students. Before the introduction of Signalong, some students at Fort Royal would display challenging behaviours, frustration, and become dysregulated due to a lack of understanding and language barriers.

We are proud to have supported Park Lane Special School since 2002, helping children and teachers communicate. Park Lane was first introduced to Signalong in 2001 after a member of staff heard about us from a friend. The head teacher decided introducing Signalong would be beneficial to the school and its students.

We were thrilled to support Surfability UK in making their inclusive surfing experiences even more accessible by using Signalong. Following both a Signalong Foundation course and a Surfability-specific training session, the Surfability team are now equipped with the tools to communicate more effectively with surfers who have communication needs.
